siru

A piece of cookware used to steam rice cakes and other foods. In a manner similar to the process by which raw food is cooked and hence brought to completion within a siru, the Early Heaven’s teachings and cultures will be integrated and consummated, leading to the civilization of mansaji (“omniscience”) in the Later Heaven. The siru hence connotes consummation, maturation, and completion, as does the word jeung, found in Sangjenim’s adopted honorific dao name.
