A highly strategic board game (called weiqi in Chinese and go in Japanese) in which two opponents alternate placing black and white stones on a grid of 361 points. The player with a greater share of secured points and captured stones wins the game.
Baduk is central to Sangjenim’s Cheonjigongsa (“Work of Renewing Heaven and Earth”), which shall redirect the world’s destiny to bring about: the resolution of humanity’s bitterness and grief; our salvation at the time of the Autumn Gaebyeok; the emergence of the Later Heaven’s Paradise of Immortality.
